I WELCOME YOU AND SEND THIS MESSAGE OF PEACE, LOVE, JOY AND HOPE DURING THIS ADVENT SEASON
BY
THE MOST REV. SAMUEL PETER PRAKASH
METROPOLITAN ANGLICAN CHURCH OF IN INDIA (CIPBC)

What does it mean by Advent season? Many Christians are unfamiliar with the LiturgicalYear, there may be some confusion surrounding the meaning of the advent season.

Advent season is the celebration of God's Incarnation. This season is to think over about the reason why Lord Almighty send his only son on this earth for us. Jesus took birth for us. His life was a message to all of us that God loves us and protects us from all evil. This season we have to focus on the Lord's love for us and how we should spread it on this earth. Its written in Hebrew "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord."

The Advent season lasts four Sundays, leading up-to Christmas.Advent is the time the new Christian year begins with the twelve-day celebration. Of Christmastide which lasts Christmas Eve until Epiphany on January 6th. Advent begin on the Sunday that falls between November 27th and December3rdof each year.

All Christian denominations differs on the date formalities and colours to be used on each Sunday in Advent season. We, the Anglicans usually use purple or white on Christmas Sunday.Advent season reminds us for the coming of Christ which is depicted with the lighting of white candle.

It is the love of God towards the mankind, whom God created, on his own image with his Holy spirit and today God wants us to liveon his will and desire and Lord keeps reminding us that he is protecting his people from Satan.

God so loved us thatHegave His son, Jesus Christ to be sacrificedfor our sins and Christ promised to mankind, "if you will follow me I shall give you everlasting life".The Advent season is the preparation to welcomeBaby Christ on Christmas day. Let us all prepare to celebrate birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and spread his message of Peace, love, joy and hope on this earth.

You shall be in my prayers May God be with you and give you everlasting joy and happiness. May the blessings of God Almighty be with you.

Many of us are betraying our Lord Jesus and put Him on Cross. Being Christian follow Christ. See your Christ on the Cross. He has forgiven you of your sin and call you to follow Him and enjoy everlasting peaceful Life after death. You have dedicated your life Christian fellowship . Read Bible every day and strengthen your way of Life.

Yours in Christ.
